Relación entre variabilidad de la práctica y variabilidad en la ejecución del servicio plano en tenis

Résumé

Este estudio investiga acerca de la relación existente entre la variabilidad en la ejecución del servicio plano en tenis y la práctica variable del mismo, partiendo de un análisis predictivo de las variables cinemáticas instantáneas que definen el movimiento de la mano que sujeta la raqueta. 17 tenistas pasaron por 8 condiciones de práctica precedidas de un test inicial y finalizadas con un test final. En dichas series se variaron el implemento utilizado y la pelota. Cada jugador realizó 120 golpeos, con la instrucción de golpear a la máxima potencia manteniendo la eficacia. Los datos obtenidos identifican como variables predictoras de la eficacia en un 57.7 % a dos parámetros relacionados con la velocidad y con la aceleración de la mano: los coeficientes de variación del tiempo hasta el pico de velocidad lineal de la mano en el eje Y y la aceleración lineal final de la mano en el mismo eje. También muestran diferencias significativas entre numerosas variables cinemáticas instantáneas medidas entre el pre-test y las series de práctica variable, así como correlaciones negativas y significativas entre estas variables y la eficacia obtenida en los servicios.
