Abstract
In this article it is underlined the outstanding value that the selfsame territory has as factor of attraction for the tourism in rural and natural spaces especially (to be focused, for this, on a space of mountain like study of case), proceeding, later on, to synthesize the some most important territorial resources (the same way as theirs differents directions for the use), especially those linked to the historical and built patrimony, that they offer these districts, municipalities and oriental valleys of the Cantabrian Mountain (Oriental Valleys of Cantabria; Valleys of the Basque Country -west and northwest of Biscay and Alava-; Merindades or Mountains of Burgos) for the promotion of the rural tourism.
