Abstract

In the given essay we are going to discuss the apostolic mission carried out by the Jesuits from Salamanca in Burgos. This missionary practice is one of the first references that are in the house of Salamanca (founded in 1548), which became a true prototypical model of transmission for the archetype of the humanistic renovation in Catholicism. To carry out this mission, prominent Jesuits were posted, noted for their strong impact and repercussion in the University of Salamanca senate. They employed a new language, laden with novel images, giving it an ambiguity owing to its close border relationship between the orthodox, the illuminate, the Erasmist, etc; exercising it later in Andalusia, which contributing to the importance of Juan of Avila in these lands.
