Resumen

En el siglo XXI, si queremos dar respuestas a la enorme diversidad de textos a los que ha dado lugar la modernidad líquida, a las graves situaciones de asimetría, a la constante interacción y choque entre culturas, la traducción necesita dejar de mirar hacia adentro para convertirse en un concepto viajero, y entender que actualmente es una actividad presente en prácticamente todos los campos epistemológicos. Vista así, la actividad de traducir interesa, como se intenta demostrar en esta entrada, no únicamente en las disciplinas tradicionales, sino que está presente en otras como el arte, la música, la danza, la sociología, los medios digitales, el activismo, etc.
