Abstract
The work examines the value of dignity and indignity in today’s society, through the analysis of some paradigmatic stories such as the coverage of information about nursing homes at the beginning of the pandemic; the resignification processes of the cultural past; the sensationalism of “reality shows” in the social construction of female characters, and the review of the most recurrent (in)dignities of the digital environment.
