Abstract
In 1947, the philosopher and epistemologist Alexandre Koyré wrote a short paper in homage to the great minds of France who fell during the Second World War. At the heart of his reflections was an analysis of the work of Jean Cavaillès. His exposition is carried out, on the one hand, through a contextualization and evaluation of his proposals concerning logic and the philosophy of science and, on the other hand, through a dialogue with Husserl's philosophy, especially with the main theses of Formal Logic and Transcendental Logic of 1929.
