Abstract
In the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals contained in the 2030 Agenda, the role of education and the essential role of the University in the fulfilment of these goals is undeniable. In this sense, taking the SDG-4 as a frame of reference, this work proposes a pioneering proposal on how to design, implement and evaluate new teaching methodologies that promote the integration of the SDGs in university teaching and the creation of inclusive spaces, promoting the active participation of students in their learning in a way that allows them to develop a comprehensive training in order to be able to carry out a critical reflection, based on the acquisition of transversal competences incorporating the elements of sustainability and commitment, to become an agent of change. Thus, focusing our study on equal access to justice for people in vulnerable situations within the Social and Legal Sciences, this paper presents the experience developed within the framework of the Teaching Innovation Project of the University of Salamanca “Active participation methodologies to promote sustainable learning in terms of equal access to justice for people in vulnerable situations”, structured, on the one hand, on the debate in the classroom as a pedagogical tool, and on the other, on the gamification strategy through digital tools.
