Raquel Lara Ruiz holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca (2009), a Master's degree in Artistic Production from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (2010), and a Master's degree in Teacher Training with a specialization in Art Education from the University of Salamanca (2013). She has continued her education through courses such as Art and Philosophy at EINA University Center for Design and Art in Barcelona (2020) and has participated in conferences such as the 1st Congress of Art and Social Context at the Complutense University of Madrid (2023). Currently, she focuses her research on participatory art productions and works as a professor in the Faculty of Fine Arts and the Master's program in Cultural Heritage Assessment and Management at the University of Salamanca. Throughout her professional career, she has received scholarships from the Cultural Department of Spain in Cuba (2022), the Ministry of Culture and Sports' Promotion of Art program (2019), and the Culture Department of the Government of Extremadura (2020, 2010). Additionally, she participated in the 5th Encounters of Artistic and Cultural Cooperation between Spain and Serbia, organized by the Spanish International Cooperation Agency of the Ministry of Culture of Spain (2009).
