Doctor by the Universidad de Salamanca with the thesis El auto-informe en la evaluación docente del profesorado universitario 1994. Supervised by Dr. Francisco Javier Tejedor Tejedor.

Full Professor of the University of Salamanca in Research Methodology and Evaluation in Education. Currently he is the Vice-Rector for Quality and Degree Courses (before, Teaching and Educational Innovation), ex-director of the Institute of Education Sciences (IUCE). She leads the Educational Assessment and Guidance Group ( (https://ge2o.usal.es/) within the Consolidated Research Unit Interaction and eLearning Group (GRIAL): https://grial.usal.es/ She teaches Statistical analysis of data in the Bachelor of Education Program Methodology for Assessing the Degree of Education. She teaches courses in the Master, online Master and Doctorate in Educational Research and Evaluation (University of Salamanca, University of Cádiz, Córdoba University and the Pontifical University of Salamanca). He has extensive experience in statistical analysis of social data and e-Learning and the author of renumerous research articles on education and social sciences.
