Doctora por la Universidad de Salamanca con la tesis El auto-informe en la evaluación docente del profesorado universitario 1994. Tesiaren zuzendaria Dr. Francisco Javier Tejedor Tejedor.

Full Professor of the University of Salamanca in Research Methodology and Evaluation in Education. She was the Vice-Rector for Quality and Degree Courses (before, Teaching and Educational Innovation) from 2020 to 2024, and director of the Research Institute for Educational Sciences (IUCE, https://ror.org/00xnj6419/) from 2009 to 2020. She leads the Educational Assessment and Guidance research group (https://ge2o.usal.es/) within the consolidated research unit Grupo de Interacción y eLearning (Grial, https://grial.usal.es/), She teaches Methodology in Evaluation and Quality Management in different University Degree and Masters in the field of Education (University of Salamanca, University of Cádiz, Córdoba University and the Pontifical University of Salamanca). He has extensive experience in statistical analysis of social data and e-Learning and the author of over ninety research articles on education and social sciences.
