Resumo

This thesis is part of the dynamic analysis of the construction of collective identities. With the arrival of the State of Autonomies two dynamics are observed unexpected. The centrifugal pressure rise by the Autonomous Communities, which demanded greater levels of autonomy and an increased demand for regional collective identity. The convergence of both dynamics in education can speculate on whether the regions instrumentalize the education system in payment of their collective identity and regional level, especially if there are differences between them in building their regional peculiarities. One of the theoretical principles of this thesis is that power and culture are linked. The power needs a culture of loyalty standing to ask for their decisions, and legitimizing culture ensures its survival. Consequently, the policies designed to identity construction, where education policies are important. This helps to understand important part of ethnicity in Spain. Also, next to the ethnicity analysis adds another dimension systemic relations. The design methodology is a case study comparing between similar system, using qualitative and quantitative analysis. The aim is to check whether the CCAA differentially organize their educational subsystems paying their collective identity. Among the techniques used were the analysis of legal texts, interviews and cluster analysis by the method of K-means. In light of the data, the pulse identity between regions is increased in the Spanish educational system
