Abstract

The game is enjoyed by children and adults alike; that is the reason why we use it in this document: to teach and learn multiplication tables in second grade. Playfulness in children is something almost innate, which is linked directly to the desire of the child to win and have fun. We propose the use of two mathematical games as a teaching tool in the classroom for learning tables because they result in high motivation, a positive attitude and helps in memorizing the multiplication tables.
