Zusammenfassung

The damms, ponds, etc., contain water often introduced by humans for electrical production, water supply, irrigation, navigation, fishing, bathing, etc., and are accepted as a positive income for the area that houses it. This thesis addresses the biodiversity of birds in two consecutive years, both with special characteristics within the 40 working years of the Ecology department in the Arrocampo reservoir, created for the cooling of the turbines of the Almaraz Nuclear plant (Cáceres). Located in a plateau of the center-west of Spain with a soil of very deep granitic sands coming from weathering of the mountains of Gredos and with few rivers, streams, due to those soil. The weather data has been provided by the State Meteorological Agency and we analyzed temperatures and rainfall. We focus on the Biodiversity, the Records or Presence, the Trophism of the birds, and postulate an assessment of Trophic Niches occupied by birds in this area that has become a Special Protection Birds Area (SPBA). When working with animal communities, the results of the censuses differ from those obtained a few days or hours after the previous one. There are studies of single census that do not detail techniques of counting, time or place of observation. This paper attempts to solve these problems. Thus, it is necessary to establish techniques of observation, data processing, selection of size, shape and quality of the reservoirs, to determine the quality of the habitats of the groups to be studied.
