Abstract

The thesis proposed will set an itinerary through the most influential animated cartoon series broadcasted in Spain since the begining. This research will focus on the evolution of women's perception within the different approaches shown in cartoons. The foundation for this given design is based on the uncountable hours that spanish children spend wathing tv and the impact in children's lives, specifically in the gender stereotypes creations. Consequently, the goal of this research will be to analyze the factors that have influenced the image of women in children's cartoons along the Spanish television history.
