Abstract

[EN] Fungi are ubiquitous organisms found in almost all fungal species habitats. Many species are able to adapt to different environments, developed in a short period of time a specific physiological and transcriptional response to changing environmental conditions. The fact that fungi are eukaryotic organisms with rapid development and easier to manipulate than multicellular organisms, has stimulated the use of some species of yeasts as model organisms in genetics or molecular biology.
