Abstract

This thesis aims to study the lumbar bone mineral density (BMD-L) media in women with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) of Salamanca, analyzing the influence of treatment with glucocorticoids (GC) and osteoropóticos risk factors, related classical and AR. Estimate the variation of BMD-L, with respect to the use of GC and bisphosphonates, and association with other risk factors. Secondary objectives: To describe the prevalence of fractures and osteoporosis (OP) in this population, calculate the FRAX, with and without data densiometer, and check if these results are similar
