Abstract
The incorporation of new technologies for research in any field enables support processes as the analysis of the data (Coffey et al, 1996, Fielding & Lee, 1998; Seale, 2000). NVIVO 10 can work with documents in different formats (Word, PDF, audio, data tables, spreadsheets, videos, photos, social networking sites), even allows work with material that is stored outside the program. This program lets make annotations, create relationships between elements or create hyperlinks. Make reports of activity analysis, incorporating graphics and summary tables or concept maps also that help to have an overview of the results obtained. Similarly, It allows the presentation of results using techniques common in other programs (SPSS) such as the cluster analysis. This paper describes the program NVIVO 10, we show its main features and the analysis functions that you can be made for a constructive interpretation of the communication research.
