Abstract

The new spaces of 'dialogue' and two-way interaction that have promoted the implementation of Web 2.0 tools have driven the change in traditional patterns of distribution, plus a review of communication models when the vehicle public relations. Revista Latina de Comunicación Social (RLCS) is a scientific project and multi-university open editorial outreach and academic ties, created and directed since 1998 by Dr. José Manuel de Pablos Coello. In February 2010, the magazine created its Facebook page, and soon made its foray into the Twitter network. Using Social Media presents new opportunities for horizontal relationship with the public, a special significance, but require confirmation of their real impact and contribution to environmental objectives. To answer this, we analyzed the traffic on your web RLCS was in 2010 in relation to the interactions that occurred in the spaces that have the journal in Social Networks. Without doubt, the main objective sought RLCS was to inform users an easier way to perform updates on a regular basis.
