Abstract
This text has as protagonists two novohispanic buildings founded in the 16th century, the convents of San John Baptist Teitipac and Saint Domingo Yanhuitlán, established in the south-east of Mexico. Both cases present an artistic heritage related to the Holy Week that realizes the experience of Easter in New Spain through the murals of the convent of Teitipac and sculptures of passionary angels from Yanhuitlan.
