Abstract

This article aims to present an Italian reality that is practically unknown in Spain: the presence of a great number of female migrant authors that in the past 25 years have decided to use the Italian language for their literary productions, even though that was not their mother tongue. By doing this, they want to show their experience as migrants. This study offers a panoramic through these writers setting them by geographic areas of originand introducing, in short, their work.
