Abstract

This study is about the relations between the education and protection of childhood in the región of Castilla y León in the restauration period. We think about a group of institutional initiatives that they emerge of social structure and that they are rested on the State. These initiatives try to combine the material protection (food, clothes, etc.) and the moral attention (education and instruction) and that them may be to understand as support in the compulsory schooling.
