Abstract

Due to the importance of the development of the skills in the curriculum of the teacher's training, we have established, in our Teacher's Training College in Salamanca, to improve, as far as is possible, those specific skills concerning to the Kindergarden (Preescolar). We expect that the teachers to become have the opportunity of: o Facing up, through studying a certain centre of children's education, to the studied contents in the subject of Organization and Planning of the Kindergarden (Organización y Planificación del Centro Preescolar). o Watching directly, in a kindergarden classroom, the features and evolution of the pupils belonging to this level, as well as the development of the activities to fulfil throughout the whole school year. o Making and applying a classroom observation design and continuation of one or several children's behaviour, also throughout the whole year. These aims must be achieved by means of the continuation that the students had to carry out together with the tutor-teacher of the classroom in Children's Education (Educación Infantil) and the teachers of the Comisión de Prácticas de Preescolar in the Teacher's Training College. The coordinator teacher of the development of the skills in the Kindergarden (profesora Coordinadora de las Prácticas de Preescolar) prepares, as a support document, a Skill Guidebook for all those people involved in this experience
