Abstract
The organization of the classroom is an important "tool" in the hands of the educator, especially during the early years. Consequently, it is necessary to take great care and give as much attention as possible to achieving an environment which is both pleasant and practical, as well as favourable to the lives and learning of children under six years of age. At the beginning of the school year the physical aspects of the classroom will be planned, the material organized and time distributed. For this purpose, the needs of the children, and the areas in which each child should advance and mature, must be taken into account.
