Abstract
The school as a social Institution has the purpose of guaranteeins the survival of society. A society's culture is transmitled by means of the school to educate new generations. Culture conprises the group of rules, values, customs ad uses that identify a society. Society asks that schools transmit that culture and the school transmits it by means of a certain kind of curriculum.
