Abstract
The translation between differents systems of representation is an important aspect in the teaching and learning of functions, because it allows the student to acquire the behaviour of functions from differents points of view, enriching its understanding. In this paper, we expose the concept of representation in Mathematic Education, its historie evolution in relation with the concept of function, the translation between different forms of representation and we propose didactical activities for the work in the classroom.
