Abstract

We describe a phytosociological study of the Los Barruecos (Natural Monument) located in the province of Cáceres (Extremadura, Spain). The botanical aspect is completed with historical and ecological data concerning the territory and a comment about possible improvements to the grasslands for grazing purpose is offered.
