Abstract
The aim of this paper is to discuss about the historic and généalogie explaining of the primary school birth in Ávila, a rural province in Spain, on the central part of the 19th century, during the liberal governement. The most significative phenomena of this période probably is the beginning of the general women's scolarisation, at first time in the Spanish History of Education.
