Abstract
This article draws a particular relationship between several stages followed by the so called conceptual art and the hegelian category of inverted world. The study purportedly exemplifies a kind of relation between art and philosophy able to promote understanding of the complexities involved in contemporary art. Interplay between hegelian ideas and the theoretical foundations of Joseph Kosuth and other artists is presented as a dynamic connection of art and thought, close to artistic concretion as philosophy "at" art and beyond any philosophy "of" art.
