Abstract
In this article we want to expose the organization of the musical education in Spain from 1970, year of the promulgation of the General Law of Education, until April of 2004, in which a new stage opens up in the ministerial organization and in the educational legislation of state environment. We analyze the presence of the musical education in all the environments of the educational system (university general teaching and non university student and artistic teachings) from a perspective of state organization of the teachings.
