The aim of the present study is to know the prevalence of sexual victimization in adolescent and young women by acquainted same-aged men, and to identify the possibility for some psychosocial factors to be associated with a high vulnerability to sexual victimization. 239 adolescent and young women answered a questionnaire including an adaptation of the Sexual Experience Survey (SES; Koss, Gidycz y Wisniewski, 1987), as well as other scales in order to assess some attitudes and beliefs that have been related to the vulnerability to sexual victimization. A 42.7 per cent of the sample reports to have had non desired sexual relations because an acquainted man used some coercive strategy.
