Abstract
The observed variations in the relative abundance of various species of Globorotalia, one of the most representative for the Neogene sediments in the Guadalquivir basin, are the basis for our biostratigraphic and paleoecological studies. A detailed description of ten species of Globorotalia is given in this paper along with a discussion of the relationship and differences among them.
