Abstract
Artists cannot choose not to communicate. What is more, when inspiration leads them to execute an act of communication spontaneously, they are focusing and organising their intrinsic energy in order to find o way to express their inner life in a creative manner through works of high artistic value.This paper tries to clarify the links that may exist between psychopathologies and creative abilities, so as to provide an overview of the processes that rule this enigmatic ability of the human being.
