Resumo

In the eighteenth century a significant number of blindman's ballads had as their subject the monarchy, the large number of those dedicated to Philip V and their devotion to him being outstanding. ln this respect, the University Library of Salamanca has a factitious volume made up of a total of thirty-one works which relate most relevant events of the War of the Spanish Succession. lts interest lies in the fact that, besides offering the popular interpretation of the conflict, its study makes it possible, through the bibliographic catabogue offered here, to recover essential material improving our knowledge of the history of eighteenth century printing in Spain.
