Resumen

La investigación sobre entretenimiento mediático ha teorizado que uno de los principales factores explicativos del disfrute de los formatos narrativos es la identificación con los personajes. Sin embargo es escasa la investigación empírica al respecto. Se presentan los resultados de una investigación cuantitativa en la que se entrevistó a 300 sujetos, a la salida de las salas de cine en las que se exhibían los largometrajes Mar adentro, El lobo y Bridget Jones: sobreviviré. Los resultados indican que la identificación con los personajes era el primer factor explicativo del disfrute, especialmente entre los espectadores de Mar adentro.
