Abstract

The taxonomic, ecologic and phytosociological aspects of some epiphytic Lecanoraceae from the mountain ranges of the province of Salamanca (Spain) are studied. The results indícate a broad distribution and representation of species of the group Lecanora subfusca s.l., particularly on deciduous trees; some other species, such as L. pulicaris, L. circumborealis, L. varia, L. subintricata and L. saligna, which are commom on more or less acid barks, are of particular chorological interest, as well as L. chloropolia and Lecania koerberiana, which are recorded for the first time in Spain. The group of species marked with an asterisk are all first records, for the province of Salamanca.
