Abstract
Changes and permanencies in the systems of dehesa. The case of the dehesas of Salamanca (Spain).- Dehesas have experienced some very important changes in the last few decades. These transformations have entailed an increase in external dependence, a rise and structural simplification of cattle burden and a less integrated use of the different resources of these exploitations. In spite of these alterations and some threats to the appropriate regeneration of woodland, the repercussions of these changes in the agricultural landscape can be considered moderate.
