Abstract
Like the rest of the Humanities and Social Sciences, modern Criminology born in the 19th century fruitful from a deep spirit of evolution and improvement. In the sixties of the 20th century is problematize the ideas of crime and offenders, discussing the same idea of progress. Criminology, along with other Social and Human Sciences, underwent a profound crisis of faith that removes etiological original positivist and promotes the emergence of the current late-modern paradigms less confident in the possibilities of knowledge, more thoughtful with their consequences.
