Abstract
The image of the marginal individual is delimited through artistic manifestations in the mediaeval world. The study focuses on three contexts. First, the Final Judgement, where the pedagogical discourse of images serves as domination to impose a certain order. The second centres on hagiographic discourse and marginalization. Finally, certain aspects of the marginalization of women are addressed.
