Résumé
At the end of the 1940’s Spanish architecture embraced a modem character. Faced with new opportunities and possibilities, the construction in height caused controversy, disputes and enthusiastic discussions. Architect Francisco Gil was dazzled by skyscrapers, thus designing three for the city of Salamanca. These constructions illustrate the ongoing architectural renovation and are considered the first skyscrapers in Castile and León.
