Abstract

The phenomenon of academic entrepreneurship has attracted the interest of different public administrations and universities due to its expected impact on economic and social development. To this must be added the process of reform that universities are experiencing about its mission in today's knowledge society. From the European Higher Education is been examined a third mission of the University which is structured around three main themes: entrepreneurship, innovation and social commitment. How to accomplish this new mission successfully is presented as an issue of importance in the university context. Actually the entrepreneurial potential of universities is limited. Therefore, curriculum must include aspects such as changing attitudes, enhancement of entrepre- neurial competencies, development of new values, personal,cognitive and management capabilities training, with the pursuit of students begin to be aware of the new employment options within the own University. In order to promote entrepreneurship, this study has been written responding to a series of questions that are central in the development of any entrepreneurial training program.
