Abstract

Empirical background and planning of several studies with 2.0 tools. National and international empirical studies concerning the uses that youth make the tools of Web 2.0 and the effects that these cause in the process of teaching and learning are reviewed and analyzed. To this end, two types of studies are realized: one descriptive through questionnaires and self-online and other experimental or intervention that will adopt a pretest-posttest design with nonequivalent control group to measure monitoring, from the implementation of a web 2.0 application in a classroom of Compulsory Secondary Education to assess the effects. Therefore, with this investigation, the digital competence and written communication will improve. In addition, the academic performance will increase. During this study we received competitive funds from de MICINN project (EDU2010-19250, 2010-2013); besides from the competitive Project for Excellence Groups JCyL (GR-259; BOCyL 27 on April 2009, 2009-2011) and FEDER funds from de European Union.
