This paper aims to relate the chivalric fiction and geographical discovery of the sixteenth century in a bilateral side: showing feedback processes between the discourse of chivalry and the colonizer. For this purpose, we consider optimal analyze the romance of chivalry Don Claribalte written by a strongly linked in both worlds author: Gonzalo Fernandez de Oviedo.
