El "Odi profanum volgus" de Horacio y su imitación creativa en la "Agorafobia" de Francisco Fortuny

Abstract

This study of the Ode 3, 1 of Horatio bears in mind the previous influences of Calímaco and of Catulo. Also there are analyzed translations of these classic texts realized by contemporary poets, as Luis Alberto de Cuenca and Enrique Badosa. The poem Francisco Fortuny's Agoraphobia is commented as imitation, recreation and translation of the Horatian Ode, with a surprising innovation that enters the emulation: the presence of the love. The avant-garde turns out to be harmonious with the classic tradition. The happiness, in his relation with the politics, appears as central matter for Horatio and in a new way for Fortuny. Medrano's mediation is revealed.
