Abstract

In this article, I give notice and study for the first time a medieval manuscript of 11 folios, which contains a dossier of prophecies, mostly of Castilian provenance. A part of this texts are placed within the Merlinian tradition: some of them correspond to pieces of which other testimonies are conserved (basically the Catalan translation of three Castilian prophecies and the «Prophetic Appendix» of the Baladro del sabio Merlín), but there are also other texts unknown until now, or that were used and rewritten in the aforementioned «Appendix». A detailed account of the contents of this new manuscript is offered, with transcription of most of the pieces and commentary on their traditions. And the Profecía cerca de la ciudad de Londres and the Visión de Alfonso X are carefully studied, exploring their relationships and implications
