Abstract

The capsulorhexis or circular capsulotomy by tear of the anterior chamber constitutes the most effective method to secure the insertion and permanence of the posterior chamber lenses inside the capsular saco Initially described for the phacoemulsification technique, it can be utilized also using mechanic systems of irrigation and aspiration. In this study we explain our results with the capsulorhexis and we evaluate the advantages and disadvantages during and after surgery.
