Abstract

In the following text we present an unpublished lot of coins coming from the Villasviejas del Tamuja (Botija-Plasenzuela. Cáceres). Traditionally this settlement was considered Vetton, but no Vetton city minted coin. That is the importance of presenting and examinating this coin ensemble; this lot of coins supports the localization of Tamusia in Villasviejas on the one hand, and on the other they testify the presence of Celtiberian people in Lusitania; the fact is confirmed by the literary and archaeology evidences.
