Abstract

The emergence of new technologies in the XXI century affects all branches of society, incluiding justice. The digitalization of the administration of justice is a reality due to new regulations which govern it. Today, we can speak of a new concept of perception of justice in Spain: the E-Justice. With this shape is to be able to get computerized procedures, and even talk of virtual trials. At the same time the EU is creating a European judicial area could not ignore new technologies. These projects are being promoted from the EU try to encourage the application of new legal instruments based on �justice network�, this is an issue in constantly changing But this computer conversion is a reality or utopia?, Should we move forward at any cost?, Is prejudice the fundamental rights and due process with the introduction of information technology and communication? These and other issues will be resolved below.
