Abstract
In the last twenty or twenty-five years, research on Spanish medieval preaching has experienced a considerable increase. There have been a series of catalogues, editions of texts, scientific meetings, in summary, very diverse studies on the multiple matters that the sermon puts into play: its peculiar composition mode, its interrelation with culture, society and the rest of the literary panorama. It is necessary to consolidate this trajectory in order to recover the reality of medieval preaching, in the medium term, in an even more extensive and solid way.
