Abstract

The Kurdish people, the biggest nation without state, are divided among several countries. One of them, Iraq, in open process of post-war, attempts to define his new territorial organization model, where Iraqi Kurdistan Region will be a key question. This region enjoys a relative calm and a high-level of self-government since 1991, but nowadays encounters in Turkey one of the greatest obstacle for getting her complete emancipation. Turkey, with territorial and oil aims in the new Iraq and 12 millions of Kurds, looks out of any change in the neighbour country. This article analyses the difficulties both Turkey both Iraqi Kurdistan can find in the new Iraqi political system for getting their own aspirations.
