Abstract

We present the discovery of three new complexes containing Palaeolithic rock art concentrated in Aizpitarte III, V and IX Caves. Preliminary assessments indicate that they belong to the Gravettian (III and IX) and mid Magdalenian (V) cultures. They are mainly made up by animal figures etched into the wall, and form small-to-medium-sized complexes. A more detailed study has yet to be carried out.
